    This set of batts were hand-processed from a CVM fleece. CVM is short for California Variegated Mutant sheep. This breed comes from the line of Romeldale sheep but the sheep display varying color patterns. It is a fine wool breed, and this particular fleece has a cream color with oatmeal (light tan) and hints of light grey in it. From the pictures of the batts, you'd think it was from a coated sheep, but it was not. I spent extra time picking out the vm while processing so there should be little to no vm present. The drumcarding process is a bit slower for fine breeds to get nice, smooth batts. I believe all of the effort is worth it for such a fun, rewarding spin. I hope you enjoy these bundles!
