This past weekend, I had the honor to teach 20+ people how to spin 2 and 3 ply fractals. I have spun many samples and I found one of my favorite ways to spin them. I was able to share this method and demonstrate and provide hands-on assistance. Then, I gave examples of how crocheted and knitted fabric made from these types of yarns, weaving is suitable as well.
Because I plan on teaching this again elsewhere, I will simply post the stages that resulted in the 3-ply fractal. (I must say I really enjoyed the outcome of this yarn.) The yarn is 100% organic polwarth, ~392 yards in 3.9 ounces... so squishy and yummy! I am ready to make more 3-ply fractal yarns. Oh, but wait here comes a thought:
What should I make with it?
