 Wisconsin 2019 CompetitionAdvanced Class (Novelty): Supercoiled corespun featuring shetland locks, dyed cotswold locks, merino, firestar, angelina, and other fibers. Fibers were blended on a drum carder and then spun, locks were added while corespinning. Score: 69/70 |  Wisconsin 2019 CompetitionAdvanced Class (Bulky): 2-ply center-pull East Fresian sheep's wool, which was handcombed to remove vegetation matter and then carded into batts and spun with a supported long draw method to maintain loftiness. A slight touch of lanolin left in the fiber. Score: 66/70 |
